Valerie von der Tann is a McCloy Fellow and recent graduate of the Harvard Kennedy School’s Master in Public Policy program. Her research focuses on Internet governance, data security and privacy, as well as on infrastructure policy and international relations. Valerie’s professional experience includes working as an associate for McKinsey & Company from 2010 to 2012 and internships with the German Embassy in Washington D.C., Booz & Company and the German parliament in the years 2006-2009. In addition to her Master in Public Policy, she holds a Bachelor in Economics and a Bachelor in International Affairs from the University of St. Gallen, Switzerland.
