Tobby Simon is the Founder and President of Synergia Foundation, a strategic do-tank which works to develop impactful solutions in the areas of geo-economics and geosecurity. He is also the President of the Synergia Group, a business advisory and Incubation Company that works in the area of translational research.

Tobby has over thirty years of inter–disciplinary expertise in both traditional and nontraditional security including healthcare, cybersecurity, telecom, aerospace, energy security, information warfare, conflict resolution and in international affairs.

Tobby is a member of the Tri-Lateral Commission and a Commissioner to The Global Commission on Internet Governance (GCIG). Mr. Simon continues to serve on the advisory board of the Centre for New American Security (CNAS). He also served on the advisory board of the International Council of the Belfer Center of Science and International Affairs (BCSIA) at The John F. Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University. Mr. Simon was also invited to organize a global panel on cyber threats to critical infrastructure at the 51st Munich Security Conference in February 2015.

Tobby has a Master’s in Business Administration, a university topper and was a special invitee of the Indian Prime Minister in 1988. He is a graduate of the Harvard Business School and a Research Associate at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). He is currently pursuing his doctoral studies (Ph.D.) at the National institute of Advanced Studies (NIAS) Bangalore.
