Samir Saran is Vice President at the Observer Research Foundation, India and Chair, CyFy: The India Conference on Cyber Security and Internet Governance. He is the Co-Convenor of the India-US Track 1.5 Dialogue on Cyber Issues. Samir is also a member of the World Economic Forum’s Global Future Council on Cybersecurity and member of its South Asia Advisory Group. Ahead of the creation of the Global Commission on Cyberspace Stability, he was invited to join its Inception Group, and continues to be its member. Samir is the Director of the Centre for Peace & Conflict Studies at Sardar Patel University of Police, Security and Criminal Justice, Jodhpur. His latest publication, New Norms for a Digital Society, outlines rights and responsibilities of stakeholders in evolving digital spaces. Samir has frequently been featured in national and international publications.
