Ansgar is Director of Government Relations for Germany, Central & Eastern Europe, and Middle East/Mediterranean/Africa and head of Hewlett-Packard’s Berlin Office. He provides advice and support to business leaders with two primary objectives: helping to drive business growth with public sector clients, and promoting public policies and regulatory environments that create a competitive advantage for HP.
Ansgar joined HP in January 2012. Prior to his current position, Ansgar was Director of Government Relations at SAP, also based in Berlin. Previously, he worked for four years for Germany’s Federal IT Association BITKOM with focus on Economic and Innovation Policy. Ansgar started his professional career as an analyst at the Office for the Protection of the Constitution.
Ansgar holds a Diploma in Political Science from The Free University in Berlin, and a Master of Science in International Strategy and Economics from University of St. Andrews.
