Matt Bross is the Chairman and CEO of Compass-EOS, a supplier of icPhotonics™ technology which delivered the world’s first commercial chip-to-chip direct silicon-tophotonics solution. Matt was the former Global Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of Huawei, CTO of British Telecom (BT), and CTO of Williams Communications. Matt has lead the technology innovation and investment strategies for the companies he has served across multiple technology and business domains including carrier, enterprise, devices, applications and services.

Matt was awarded a William Pitt Fellowship by Pembroke College at the University of Cambridge. In 2010, Matt was listed as one of the most powerful people in wireless by Fierce Wireless due to his leadership impact on the wireless industry and for his role in helping to guide Huawei into a dominant emerging force within the global marketplace.

Matt currently serves as Chairman of the Global Information Infrastructure Commission (GIIC) and is a member of the Board of Directors for the EastWest Institute (EWI).
