Creemers

Rogier Creemers is a Lecturer in the Politics and History of China at Oxford University’s Department of Politics and International Relations. He holds master degrees in Chinese Studies and International Relations, and a doctorate in law. His main research interest is the development of China’s information society, and more broadly, the relationship between new technologies and governance. His academic work has been published in prestigious journals including The China Journal and the Journal of Contemporary China. His website, China Copyright and Media, contains a unique database of translated Chinese legal, regulatory and policy documents. He has also contributed to The Diplomat, Foreign Policy and Financial Times Online.
